A refreshing new Cointreau site
Knock, knock, it’s cocktail o’clock! Cointreau, a French liqueur, requested SQLI to redesign their website with a new visual identity and make it more adaptable for local content developers. The end result is a completely new front-end and back-end that even novice Drupal users can use. Let us clarify what we did before we drink to that.

You probably recall Cointreau from your grandparents' liquor cabinet. The world has changed! The liqueur brand is shedding its old-fashioned and traditional image in order to appeal to a younger demographic. The goal is to provide that audience with cocktail recipes from all over the world in order to inspire them. That's why their digital strategy, user experience, user interface, and search engine optimization must all be flawless. To the rescue, SQLI!

Cointreau requested us to build a new digital brand identity and launch it on a new international website. Another goal was to make it easier for local marketing teams in each location to handle content. Our Drupal 8 experts developed a completely new editing approach that allows copywriters to construct paging by putting together blocks of text, photos, videos, and forms with a full range of layout settings. They even made it possible to add a content block to the front-end. We also made it easy for local editors to change (content in) blocks with a few clicks.

We have created a content distribution mechanism that allows different local markets to effortlessly replicate or translate the worldwide page's content. As usual, with the fewest possible thresholds and the best user-friendliness for local content providers.
We also took use of this chance to incorporate Cointreau's new visual identity into the website. The frontend and backend now have a more modern and up-to-date look and feel. To top it off, we examined and improved the whole site performance in order to increase SEO quality.
