Health: Covid-19 special
The unprecedented public health crisis that hit the world in 2020 has led SQLI to take specific measures to support both its clients and employees.
The immediate response: a business continuity plan
In order to face the Covid-19 crisis, protect employee health and ensure optimum service level and quality for its clients, SQLI immediately deployed a business continuity plan and systematically enabled fully remote working for all of its employees.
On its premises, stringent health protection measures were introduced, including the use of signs and posters to inform employees about virus prevention and hygiene rules, as well as the closure of shared spaces. New “remote rituals” were also set up to enable employees to stay in touch with each other and the company. In order to ensure that employees had ergonomic workspaces at home, SQLI set up a lending system to provide them with office chairs and screens.
The “Lockdown Survival Guide”
In order to maintain contact with employees and reduce the impacts of the lockdown, the “Lockdown Survival Guide” offered daily support for employees in France and overseas. Adopting a light-hearted tone to combat this gloomy period, this exceptional communication campaign provided various fun content, including original news, challenges to take up and quizzes.
Supporting research
To celebrate its 30th anniversary, SQLI launched a social network campaign to support research. Named ‘Un souffle contre le virus’ (Blow out a candle to fight the virus), it invited employees to send a selfie of themselves blowing out a candle in response to posts on LinkedIn and Facebook. Each photo sent was transformed into a €10 donation to the charity Fondation de France.
This campaign was accompanied by a fundraiser for Fondation de France, where each donation made was matched by a donation from SQLI.
A gradual return to premises and the Welcome Back Kit
In order to help organize employees’ gradual return to their work sites, SQLI gave a Welcome Back Kit to each employee, including fabric masks, filters, a bottle of hand sanitizer, a guide of good practices to adopt, a company magazine and a few goodies.
Our social commitment
Corporate social responsibility is a core focus for SQLI. It is embodied in commitments to our employees, as well as to all those involved in our ecosystem.
