Crédit Agricole bets on digital to boost its recruitment

A new careers platform for all of its brands

Launch of a new employer brand tag-line and overhaul of its careers website: the Crédit Agricole group is recruiting and making it known. To do this the Group has sought SQLI 's assistance to ensure that it is done at group level, which is the centrepiece of its employer communications.   This reflects the wealth of opportunities that the Group and its associated brands offer. So thanks to digital, the Crédit Agricole group offers a new experience to applicants.  

Recruitment: a crucial challenge in assisting with the transformation of the group

With 4000 permanent contract job offers, 3500 work-study programme offers and 6000 internship offers, the  Crédit Agricole group is the leading employer in France in the banking sector and one of the most important in the French economy.

In February, the Crédit Agricole group set up a new brand: 'Tout commence ici' (It all starts here). The highly explicit tag-line promises applicants a genuine career by showing them the diversity of its entities, its expertise and its sites. This tag-line aims to reinforce the attractiveness of the Group as well as the sense of belonging that its 140,000 members of staff have. In this context, the Crédit Agricole group wanted to overhaul its careers website: each of the Group's recruitment websites made way for one single unifying platform.

This system addresses several challenges:

  • To attract young talented individuals by demonstrating the Group's scope at an international level
  • To rejuvenate and boost the Crédit Agricole group's image
  • To facilitate the management of applications
  • To give the Group's different brands increased visibility

SQLI was able to guarantee Crédit Agricole that project deadlines would be met thanks to a suitable methodology and excellent functional and technical mastery of the eZ Publish solution. On the other hand, given its good knowledge of the company - SQLI was already handling maintenance of the Crédit Agricole S.A. group's previous Careers website - it was naturally entrusted with developing the website.

An attractive and practical website created in less than 3 months

SQLI developed the platform using the eZ Publish v5 solution within a very limited timeframe of 3 is now the favoured point of access for all of the Crédit Agricole group's job offers. In addition to a Group presentation, the platform makes it possible:

  • To access all of its brands' offers in 52 countries, with a customised view depending on applicants' profiles
  • To target searches with a single click and discover the opportunities for career development on offer thanks to an effective search engine
  • To programme alerts in accordance with Internet users' criteria for being informed in real time by e-mail about new offers
  • To make it as easy as possible to make an application

This tool has been designed with a responsive design and is fully upgradable and makes it possible for internal contributors from different subsidiaries to modify the content themselves.  Indeed, each brand can enjoy its own communications page with its colour codes and news as well as publishing its job offers.Since its launch at the beginning of February, the website has already generated a significant increase in traffic and applications.
