SQLI Opens in the United Kingdom

SQLI, a benchmark partner for businesses in the definition, implementation and management of their digital transition, has announced its expansion to the United Kingdom, reinforcing its international reach with a team of experts in e-Commerce delivery and a dynamic Offshore production base in South Africa.

More than 20 experts in cutting-edge e-commerce platforms

SQLI has chosen to accelerate its market penetration in the United Kingdom by integrating a team of renowned experts in state-of-the-art e-Commerce platforms. The twenty or so employees at InventCommerce operate across the entire value chain, from consulting to architecture, development and support.

Like SQLI, InventCommerce is a partner of Hybris and Magento, two technological benchmarks in e-Commerce solutions.InventCommerce has a sales office in London and an English-speaking Offshore production base in Cape Town, South Africa. Since its creation in 2011, the company has deployed e-Commerce platforms for major accounts such as Danone, Dr Martens, Pearson, Shell and SSE, both in the United Kingdom and other European countries.

A very strong fit between teams

The teams at SQLI and InventCommerce share the same DNA, combining marketing and technological expertise in the service of major innovative e-Commerce projects.

Already present in France, the Benelux countries and Switzerland, SQLI is extending its presence across Northern Europe and reinforcing its Offshore production capacities. Following the acquisition, the Group will have two highly-skilled, highly-competitive technical production bases - one in Morocco and one in South Africa - which share the same time zone as Europe.SQLI's UK operations will be managed by InventCommerce CEO Kevin Ludford (ex-Oracle, Optaros), and COO/CTO Jason Bramsden (ex-eCommera, Optaros).InventCommerce will be integrated from 1 January 2016.

While the terms and conditions of the operation are confidential, the acquisition will not be financed by a loan or share issue and will be immediately accretive.SQLI will publish its 2016 first-quarter turnover on 12 May 2015 after the close of trading.
