The Job
We are looking for an iOS Developer responsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed at a range of iOS devices including iPhones and iPads. Your primary focus will be development of iOS applications and their integration with back-end services. You will be working alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and the creation of quality products is essential.
What is this all about?
- Design and build applications for the iOS platform.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Collaborates with the iOS Team in order to be align on the deliveries and features.
- Liaising fluid relationship with the client, becoming a key trusted partner.
Your profile
Who are you?
- BS in Computer Science or similar (Engineering) or 5 years of experience in mobile development.
- Experience with Reactive programming and design patterns (such as MVVM)
- Proficient with Objective-C & Swift.
- Experience with iOS frameworks such as UIKit, Core Data, Core Animation, etc.
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
- Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines.
- Able to write clean and testable code.
- Experience working with CI/CD.
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
- Knack for benchmarking and optimization
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, Mercurial or SVN
- User knowledge level for RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards
- Previous experience working with Cocoa Pods or similar.
- Mobile Development Certification highly valuable.
Skills & Behaviours
- Problem solver with excellent analytical skills.
- Used to work in international teams, with a good level of English (B2/C1) as a common language. Spanish is a good asset.
- Verbal and written communication skills. Be able to express ideas clearly and effectively with team members both internally and different stakeholders and partners.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
