We are looking for an Android Tech Lead Developer of an Agile and International Team, that is currently working in B2B eCommerce platform for one of the top 3 beverages companies in the world. He/she will join the Mobile Applications Management and lead the practice expertise within Android Software Development. The goal of this position is to ensure the smooth performance of the applications for a worldwide eCommerce platform. The global team he/she will join, works with Agile methodologies, both locally and remote.
 

 What is this all about?

• Be the force that drives strategy and quality for the Android development team.
• Lead the team to ensure software quality standards agreed are met.
• Become a mentor for the team and support the newcomers to ensure a quick ramp-up.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand requirements and provide tech level designs that match with the requirements.
• Manage day-to-day activities in the Android development team, while maintaining a high developer experience and clean coding practices

We are looking for an experienced team lead with a strong development and / or architecture background in Android that is proactive, hungry to acquire new skills and passionate about technology. A flexible and adaptable person, good team player and willing to support other team members.

As an orientation, the following points summarize the technical skills we are looking for. We know they are a lot, so we are flexible with people missing some of them and willing to learn.

• 3 years’ experience as a team lead and at least 6 more years as a developer or architect.
• A bachelor’s degree and/or master’s in engineering or computer science.
• The ability to solve complex problems and produce clean coding quality.

• Extensive experience with applying consumer-centric design processes, while collaborating with cross-functional teams including.
• Deep hands-on technical experience on different technologies, as an orientation:

                             -Java & Kotlin

                              -GIT

                              -Unit Testing

                              -Rest API

                              -You worked with Scrum and you are familiar with the ceremonies.

                              -You worked with ticketing systems (ideally Jira)
