SQLI Appoints Haykel Mazioud as Managing Director of SQLI Morocco

A recognized leader in the IT sector, Haykel Mazioud brings over 25 years of experience in managing complex digital transformations, industrializing digital services, and leading multisite teams. Prior to joining SQLI Morocco, he served as Managing Director of the Global Delivery Centers for Atos/Eviden in Morocco and Tunisia, while also sitting on the executive committee of Eviden France.

Throughout his career, he has led teams of up to 2,300 employees, established several centers of excellence, and structured distributed models aligned with the expectations of major European clients.

Haykel Mazioud’s appointment comes at a time of strong momentum for SQLI Morocco. With offices in Rabat, Casablanca, and Oujda, the subsidiary employs nearly 950 people and plans to recruit an additional 400 engineers by the end of 2025 to support large-scale projects in e-commerce, CRM, cloud, DevOps, and artificial intelligence.

This expansion is supported in particular by the recently inaugurated Digital Lab in Rabat, attended by Mr. Ryad Mezzour, Minister of Industry and Trade. This 300 m² innovation showcase enables the prototyping of cutting-edge solutions (AI, IoT, augmented reality, blockchain) and fosters co-creation with clients through an agile and immersive approach.

The SQLI Group management also expressed its appreciation for Éric Chanal, former Managing Director of SQLI Morocco, who played a key role in the subsidiary’s growth and the development of its expertise.
