Implementation of teleconsultation

SQLI creates a remote medical consultation service for Clinique Pasteur.

Background

During a hospital stay, the patient is brought to see a number of actors (surgeon, anaesthetist, etc.). In order to avoid forcing patients to physically travel to each of their appointments, the Clinic wanted to digitise some of them.

The service was therefore designed for recurrent patients, for a follow-up over time, and not for a first consultation as the diagnosis is always made in physics.

Support

A multi-expertise project

Integrated into the Clinique Pasteur’s online patient space, the micro-service required the expertise of our consultants to :

  • The technical choices: according to the specific needs of the health care environment and the software already used by the Clinic
  • The testable prototype
  • The final Webapp
  • The virtual communication tunnel: during the time of the consultation to link the patient’s navigation session to the doctor’s session.
  • Interoperability with the Clinic’s software for appointments and our product.
  • The security of the online tool: accessible only with a protected URL and environment. Each patient and each doctor has a personal account.

Benefits

An application adopted by doctors as well as patients

"We're building our digital patient space brick by brick and teleconsultation is an important element in a range of services that we provide for our patients. This brick is an important step in patient care, particularly for those with chronic conditions who need to speak to their Clinique Pasteur doctor on a regular basis. SQLI has helped us to develop this tool which is fully integrated into our complex IT infrastructure."
