Arvesta reaps what it sows: Cultivating Digital Growth with SQLI

Arvesta is an expert in agriculture, horticulture, animal feed, flour and machinery. With 200 garden centers spread across Belgium, 2,000 employees, and more than 40 strong brands under its roof, Arvesta is the largest full-service partner for farmers and growers in Belgium. The company is thriving, and that success deserves visibility. Together with SQLI, Arvesta is now making that happen.

Arvesta found a key partner in SQLI to manage its social media presence. “Right from the first meeting, I had a good feeling about SQLI,” says Melissa Engelbos, Digital Marketing Officer at Arvesta. “The team immediately brought strong ideas to the table for putting our brands on the digital map. With our Hermoo brand, for example, we had mostly focused on print, so there was a lot of untapped potential. For another brand, we had already tried digital campaigns but lacked the necessary expertise. There was definitely room for improvement, and SQLI made full use of it.”

Together, Arvesta and SQLI worked to clearly define the right target audiences. “We did that by creating a global social media strategy, a compelling landing page for Arvesta, and campaign reportings,” says Melissa. “We also implemented marketing automation and automatic WhatsApp messaging.”

 

But it went further than just campaigns. “SQLI gave me a solid start in social media management too,” Melissa adds. “We created an action plan, developed a few posts together, and brainstormed ideas and inspiration for future content. That helped us take a more strategic and consistent approach ourselves.”

All those individual steps came together as a recipe for success. “We launched multiple campaigns with SQLI and never once felt like we were left on our own,” says Melissa. “The SQLI team was actively involved and truly collaborative throughout.”

Speed and flexibility were crucial to making that work. “They were always ready, even for last-minute campaigns. That builds real trust. During campaigns, SQLI kept adjusting in real time to get the best results. Their follow-up reporting was also clear and focused, offering real insights and concrete learnings we could apply to the next wave.”

Melissa also valued SQLI’s responsiveness. “Communication was always fast and clear, which allowed us to act quickly. That’s extremely important in our sector. Agriculture is very seasonal and weather-dependent. If heavy rain is forecast next week, we need to be able to highlight the right product immediately. That’s what makes working with SQLI so efficient. It’s fast, easy, and smooth.”

 

And the numbers prove the impact. “Several campaigns brought in the right conversions and leads. The early ones were a learning experience, and we used those insights to improve. Very quickly, we saw stronger engagement within our target audiences. Our most successful campaign brought in eight times more leads than comparable campaigns we had previously run without SQLI. And they weren’t just leads, they were the right leads.”
