SQLI modernises Alstom's corporate website and rolls out its new UX/UI identity
Paris, 10 March 2026 - Alstom, a global player in sustainable and smart mobility, has entrusted SQLI, the European leader in customer experience and digital transformation, with the UX/UI modernisation of its corporate website. The aim was to integrate its new visual identity, improve the user experience and modernise a complex technical platform.
A modernisation project to support the evolution of the brand identity
As part of the evolution of its visual charter, Alstom wanted to adapt its corporate website while modernising an old and sensitive technical base. Already a long-standing partner for platform maintenance and the creation of the online portfolio, SQLI was asked to lead this modernisation.
Multidisciplinary support
SQLI mobilised its UX/UI, front-end and Drupal expertise to help Alstom integrate its new visual identity. The team modernised the website interface, adjusted or created the necessary components and improved the consistency of user journeys.
This collaboration also made it possible to optimise the technical foundation by modernising the front-end, improving code quality, reducing technical debt and enhancing maintainability. The teams also worked on accessibility and ensured the upgrade from Drupal 10 to Drupal 11.
At the same time, SQLI provided ongoing support to ensure consistent application of the new identity on the group's intranet, proposing appropriate UX/UI solutions.
A modernised and more consistent website
The update brings a unified visual identity, a clearer interface and a stronger technical foundation.
Collaboration with the Alstom teams was smooth and constructive throughout the project. The initial mock-ups were very well received, which facilitated the rest of the project and accelerated the validation process. We were able to offer several quick wins to rapidly improve the existing site and provide additional support to apply the new charter to their intranet.
With SQLI’s support, we were able to translate our refreshed brand identity into a clear and consistent digital experience. The corporate website, as the first platform to be redesigned, now acts as a benchmark for our other digital channels. We truly appreciate the quality of the new web design and the strong collaboration with the SQLI teams throughout the project.
