Redbox Digital looks to the future after joining SQLI

Consumer demand for better digital shopping experiences is higher than ever. Holiday sales reached $138 billion last year, with ecommerce growth outpacing retail growth by 10 percent – leading to the Adobe claim in a recent guide that ‘the future of e-commerce is now.’ Redbox Digital is in complete agreement.

Today is a momentous day for Redbox Digital as we join the SQLI Group - one of the most ambitious digital services agencies in Europe.

If I look back on our last 15 years in business and where we are today, we have achieved so much as an agency - not least becoming one of the biggest and most successful Magento agencies in the UK and Middle East.  It's something I'm incredibly proud of.

Reaching this 15-year milestone prompted reflection on what might lie ahead for the business. Our plan has always been to grow and scale-up our presence in the UK and Middle East, and provide new and exciting opportunities for our employees, customers and partners.

When SQLI approached us with the same enthusiasm and belief in our business as we have, we found the answer to that question.

SQLI is fast becoming a formidable force in the digital commerce and design world. They work with some of the biggest, global brands, including Airbus Group, Nespresso, Carlsberg, Hoffmann Group, GrandVision, Hansgrohe, Miele, Philips, Radley and Intergamma - to name a few.

The partnership makes sense on so many different levels. We are complementary businesses – Redbox has a reputation in the UK and Middle East for building exceptional digital commerce solutions on Magento for brands like Nespresso, Sephora, Fortnum & Mason, Paperchase, Nestle and Screwfix. SQLI has multi-platform expertise and capability across Europe.

There is a huge opportunity to leverage our collective Adobe/Magento partnership and skills. We are firmly committed to Magento and it remains a priority platform for Redbox and the Group as a whole.

We also share the same values and business ambitions. We want to grow and expand our capabilities across Europe, Middle East and Africa and become the digital commerce agency in strategy, experience design and digital transformation for brands and retailers in these geographies. We’re already well on our way to achieving this goal.

On a day-to-day level, it’s business as usual for Redbox. We will remain fully autonomous – same brand, management team and go-to-market strategy. We will continue to provide our clients with the best digital experiences brought by the best, most experienced people in the industry.
