Redbox clients make the final cut at this year’s Ecommerce Awards 2019
It's great to hear that Redbox’s clients have made the finals at this year’s Ecommerce Awards.
The Awards, which are now in their eleventh year, are widely considered the best and most significant in the retail and ecommerce industry attracting hundreds of entries each year.
Saudi’s biggest pharmacy chain, Nahdi, is shortlisted in the Best Use of a Multichannel category, while The Folio Society is up for Specialist Ecommerce Site and Best Website Launch/Relaunch for design and UX - work that was carried out by Lewis, a Redbox company.

Redbox was tasked with delivering Nahdi a complete omnichannel commerce experience for its customers through retail stores and digital channels, across 143 cities. Its existing ecommerce platform was not able to fulfil the company’s future growth ambitions.
Redbox built a new omnichannel experience on Magento Commerce Cloud and Magento Order Management. The commerce capability provides Nahdi with a secure, flexible and scalable commerce foundation, while MOM allows the pharmacy retail chain to better manage its order information across its sales channels – web, mobile, stores and warehouse – giving Nahdi real-time visibility of its inventory.

In its first week following the launch, the pharmacy retail chain saw the highest ever traffic on its site, the best conversion rates and the best average basket size value.
The pharmacy chain also experienced x2 faster load times, a 50% increase in conversion rates and a huge reduction in bounce rates to less than 10%.
Since launch of the site:
Site traffic has increased:+150 - 200%
The percentage of new customers has increased 67% per month
The percentage of repeat buyers has increased 33% per month
Percentage growth in business turnover in the last 12 months online is ~+300 - 400%

Lewis, a Redbox company, were appointed to design the global, responsive, digital experience.
The brief was to create a more compelling experience improving both the representation of the brand and products to appeal to a younger audience, as well as increasing online revenue.
Results since launch:
45% increase in users
61% increase in new users
33% increase in sessions
73% increase in page-views
43% decrease in average session duration (people find things quicker now)
68% increase in revenue
36% increase in ecommerce conversion rate
32% increase in organic search traffic
The Awards represent the best of the best in ecommerce industry and it’s a real honour and privilege to be acknowledged for the work that we’ve done for Nahdi and Folio, especially given the calibre of entries this year.
With Nahdi, we achieved a true omnichannel experience for the brand and for The Folio Society, we created a beautifully designed website that has broken new ground in the online publishing world.
