Redbox nominated for Magento Excellence Award at Imagine 2016
For the 3rd year running, Redbox Digital has been recognized by Magento for an E-commerce Award at the annual world conference.
It's nearly that time of the year where the world's Magento merchants, agencies and technology providers congregate in Las Vegas for the platform's premiere conference: Imagine 2016.
Among the many exciting talks and events, one of the main highlights of the Magento Imagine conference is the Excellence Awards, one of the industry's prestigious ecommerce awards. We are proud and excited to have been nominated for the Great Explorer (International Expansion) award, announced last Thursday. The nomination comes after months of hard work for the successful omnichannel expansion into various European markets of Screwfix - the UK's largest multi-channel supplier of trade tools, plumbing, electrical, bathrooms and kitchens.
Redbox Digital is a truly global Magento agency, with offices around the world, specialising in delivering solutions for companies that have an ecommerce footprint in multiple countries. The Screwfix project began in Germany, followed quickly by Ireland and more recently a Pan-European offer based on the success of the German strategy.
The Screwfix project is a great example of how companies are using the Magento Ecommerce platform to expand into new markets quickly, making the most of the flexibility and scalability of the platform. Additional markets can be rolled out in a matter of months, building on the first international store model.

We have an internal slogan which is 'Commerce without boundaries' and Screwfix is a great example of how companies can have a presence in many markets for a relatively low marginal cost, leveraging their investment in the Magento platform. Winning an Ecommerce award for our work would be a bonus.
As an agency, we have been successful at the Magneto Imagine Awards in the past. In 2014, the ecommerce award for Best Site was won for our work on Paperchase.co.uk and we are proud to also have won the Partner of Excellence Award back to back in 2014 and 2015.
