What is this all about?

We are looking for a Smart Machine Tech Architect that will have the responsibility to define the direction and to take decisions on the area of Smart Machine (around mobile application, physical machines, and backend systems). He/she will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, he/she will ensure that our ecosystem is secure, scalable, and delivers an exceptional user experience.

• Lead the end-to-end technical architecture design and implementation of our connected coffee machine ecosystem, including IoT devices and mobile applications. 
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define and prioritize technical requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient solutions. 
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. 
• Conduct thorough research on emerging technologies and industry trends, making strategic recommendations for enhancing our IoT coffee machine offerings. 
• Evaluate and select appropriate hardware, software, and cloud platforms for the implementation of our connected coffee machine infrastructure. 
• Ensure adherence to industry best practices, security standards, and regulatory requirements in the development and deployment of our IoT solutions.
•  Proactively identify technical risks, challenges, and bottlenecks, and propose effective mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define system performance metrics, establish benchmarks, and monitor the performance of our IoT coffee machine ecosystem.
•  Stay up-to-date with advancements in IoT, mobile application development, and related fields, sharing knowledge and promoting a culture of continuous learning within the team.

Who are you?

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience (10+ years) as a Technical Lead or Architect in the development of IoT solutions and mobile applications.
• Strong expertise in designing and implementing end-to-end IoT architectures, including device connectivity, data ingestion, storage, and analytics.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++, as well as familiarity with mobile application development frameworks (iOS and Android).
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and experience with cloud-based IoT services.
•  Experience with security protocols, encryption, and authentication methods for IoT devices. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical challenges and propose innovative solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
•  A track record of successfully delivering scalable and high-performance IoT solutions.
