The Job

We are looking for someone with a passion for finding solutions that allow customers to intuitively user our products. With experience in A/B Testing and usage of Design Systems to ensure the scalability and enhancements in our digital platforms.

 

What is this all about?

By partnering with cross-functional teams (PMs, Product Designers, developers, …) and other stakeholders, you will be working in the next generation experience of Nespresso Digital. This requires proven design skills and the ability to execute a creative vision. 

As part of the Checkout Tribe, you will be designing e2e solutions in several domains such as the Consumer Purchase Experience, Authentication and Search engine for the Global Nespresso Digital platforms in a data-driven environment and being a Design System evangelizer through different teams and markets.

What will you be doing?

  • Facilitate stakeholder’s product visions by researching, conceiving, wireframing, sketching, prototyping, and mocking up user experiences for Nespresso Digital.
  • Maintain, and scale our Design System for the Checkout Experience with the rest of the Product Design and Design Systems Team.
  • Design and deliver wireframes, stories, journeys, and high-fidelity designs for mobile and desktop devices.
  • Set design requirements based on information from internal teams and user research.
  • Identify new product improvement opportunities.
  • Analyze how a new product satisfies market needs and consumer preferences.
  • Stay up to date on current industry trends and market conditions.
  • Coordinate with other design team members to ensure consistent and accurate communication.
  • Modify and revise existing designs to meet changing customer preferences.
  • Work closely with product engineers to suggest improvements for products and processes.
  • Present product design ideas to cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

Your profile

Who are you?

  • 6 or more years of experience in the different phases of the design process.
  • Strong experience in A/B testing
  • Experience with design systems (principles, creation, improvement, scale, ways of working, evangelization).
  • Expertise in Figma.
  • Knowledge to work hand to hand with developers for the consolidation of the components of the Design System.
  • Experience in agile environments and Lean understanding.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Soft skills – Dynamic, creative personality, good communication skills to effectively engage and influence a variety of audiences.
  • Passion for design; not satisfied with the status quo and always thinking of ways to improve.
  • Ability to collect and interpret both qualitative and quantitative feedback.
  • Good HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, any other European language is a plus.

Selection process

  1. Pre-selection: The pre-selection process will consist on an eligibility check based on qualifications and expertise reflected on the candidate's CV.
  2. Interview: Best positioned, pre-selected candidates may be called to arrange an interview.
  3. Candidates will be interviewed by the hiring manager and an ad hoc selection panel.
  4. Formal offer letter: Once identified, the People Management Unit will send a job offer to the successful candidate indicating start date, salary, working conditions, and any additional relevant details.
