The Job

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a HR Specialist/Recruiter. This is an exciting opportunity to join SQLI. You´ll join an international team (people from all over the world) located in our amazing offices in Barcelona. You will be part of a team that collaborates and supports each other. The HR Specialist/Recruiter manages all the procedures related to the work environment of SQLI Spain workers, ensuring compliance with current labour legislation. Among others responsibilities, she/he will process employee data, updating company policies and assisting in the hiring process. To be successful in this role, you should have solid organizational skills and be familiar with HR functions. Ultimately, you will make sure all HR operations run smoothly.

What is this all about?

  • Execution planification of the contract administration and signature.
  • Ensure the correct application of labour regulations.
  • Maintenance of personnel data base and ensuring data is accurate and timely provided, ex. update of personal data, changes in professional categories, sick leave, maternity & paternity leaves, absenteeism, etc. for payroll processing.
  • Support SQLI Spain employees in payroll and legal questions.
  • Being part of the definition and deployment of new HR projects related to working conditions: ex. teleworking, clock-control, etc.

 

Your profile

 

Who are you?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Labour Relations, Law or similar
  • At least 2 years of in-depth professional experience in the area of payroll and HR administration.
  • Have a good understanding of HR systems.
  • Thorough knowledge of Spanish benefits, Social Security, and payroll tax regulation and administration.
  • High English skills language (B2/C1)
  • Used to work with MS Office tools (Teams, Excel, etc)
  • Previous experience in an IT company highly desirable.

Selection process

  • Pre-selection: The pre-selection process will consist on an eligibility check based on qualifications and expertise reflected on the candidate's CV.
  • Interview: Best positioned, pre-selected candidates may be called to arrange an interview.
  • Candidates will be interviewed by the hiring manager and an ad hoc selection panel.
  • Formal offer letter: Once identified, the People Management Unit will send a job offer to the successful candidate indicating start date, salary, working conditions, and any additional relevant details.
