The Printemps Group wished to set up the functional and technological platform for the Citadium e-commerce system. Printemps had identified several challenges:
+ Develop a platform that can handle all of its brands and be integrated seamlessly into its information system
+ Develop a long-lasting, scalable, multi-channel and multi-device solution
+ Create the group's first online store offering efficient, easy-to-use and intuitive browsing by product characteristic or by theme
+ Ensure the site's coherence with a performance-based strategy: SEO optimisation, up and cross-selling strategies, social commerce
+ Comply with all deadlines and remain within budget.
Wax Interactive relied on its expertise in ERP integration and in functional and technical design for retail websites in order to orchestrate the construction of an e-commerce platform and to integrate it into the company's information system.
Wax was also responsible for integrating the cutting-edge solutions provided by its partners:
+ hybris: a multi-channel commerce platform
+ Compario: the searchandising solution
In order to ensure the successful completion of the project within the time allowed, Wax Interactive relied on its original methodology combining Agile and CMMI.
We were under a great deal of pressure regarding the site's launch date: our business revolves around collections, textile seasons and busy times of the year. The challenge was tackled successfully by the Wax Interactive team. We created a genuine partnership, which was one of the keys to this project's success.
