The pioneering French online toy retailer JouéClub recently overhauled its technical platform, with the aim of accelerating its omnichannel strategy.
[...] in July 2017, JouéClub launched a major project to renovate its Internet platform – an overhaul that went far beyond a new Web front end.
"The first phase of the project involved needs analysis, to determine the type of website to be developed and decide whether to retain the multi-site approach or make a transition to a single website," says Aurélie Cayla, Digital Marketing and e-Commerce Manager at JouéClub.
The retailer was assisted by SQLI, along with its digital agency WAX Interactive, both in terms of the strategy to be deployed and technical aspects of the project. JouéClub's General Manager adds: "each store has its own checkout software and, therefore, different data exchange methods."
