Development of functionalities for a purchasing gateway with a unique identification used by all the group's subsidiaries throughout the world.
Objectives: centralise purchasing functions for InBev's different subsidiaries
InBev is the world's leading brewer in terms of volume with businesses in almost 130 countries. In order to standardise its practices and create savings, the company decided to create a gateway site that would provide access via a unique identification process to the whole of the purchasing IT system. This gateway should allow users to consult the knowledge database, the purchasing network or the order maintenance applications with complete visibility from wherever they are in the world.

EoZen, SQLI's SAP centre, installed the following functionalities as part of this project:
Results: time saving and standardisation of practices in terms of purchasing
This project allowed synergies between subsidiaries to be strengthened, allowed practices to be harmonised and generated savings.
The whole of the purchasing process can now be accessed via a single application compared to different systems being required in the past.
In addition, the installation of the purchasing gateway has resulted in considerable time savings: the identification procedure is unique, the knowledge database can now be consulted transparently and links have been created between the knowledge database and the commercial processes.
