Sqli agency implemented an e-marketing strategy for Corsica Ferries and realised the Vivacorsica.com community gateway.
Objectives: place the internet surfer at the centre of the e-marketing action
In a highly competitive environment, Corsica Ferries wants to increase the sales revenues from on-line sales of ferry tickets. As part of the on-line strategic development axes defined with Sqli agency, Corsica Ferries chose a system that combined niche, community marketing and e-comerce content centred on the theme of 'organise your trip' to Corsica.
Our assistance: create a federating on-line presence centred on Corsica as a destination
The objective for this strategy was partly to develop the visibility of the Corsica Ferries brand in the internet by creating an on-line presence rich in content and services and partly to create an on-line community around the Vivacorsica.com site. In practice, this community would act as prescribers for potential clients and eventually allow them to approach niches of consumers and thereby improve the relevance to targets of their offers. In addition to its advisory role, Sqli agency also managed the site's conception for functional, ergonomical, graphical and performance measurement (webanalytics, eye tracking...) aspects
Results: an e-commerce and web 2.0 oriented web gateway
The site was designed to be the practical and unavoidable access point to all the resources required to organise a trip to Corsica. It presents a community and participative dimension with all the web 2.0 functionalities: by becoming a member, the surfer can find holiday ideas by affinity with his/her peers, note, select, post comments, enrich the site with their tips.... It also incorporates an e-commerce dimension that allows on-line ferry reservations to be made and the network of local partners to be used: also reserve an airline ticket, find lodgings or even local Corsican products). Sqli agency also assisted with the development of this community and strengthened the synergy between the gateway and the on-line reservations site corsicaferries.com.
