SQLI assisted the Elbeuf CHI in implementing the new hospital governance principles

Development of a decision-making and dashboard environment and to allow financial management of the different units in the Elbeuf hospital centre.


Objectives: prepare the IT system for the new 2012 governance rules

The new hospital governance requirements impose the creation of activity centres within the hospitals. The Elbeuf CHI wanted to install a decision-making system to do this that will allow:

  • reliable and uniform data to be obtained between different services
  • cross-functional business analyses to be conducted
  • decision-makers to have a cross-functional vision and overview of the establishment

Our assistance: Formalising the needs, structuring the data and information flows

SQLI's contribution to the realisation of this project included:

  • managing a functional requirements and objectives formalisation pre-study
  • the technical and functional study in order to structure data flows, design and input to datamarts and the BO system
  • testing / acceptance / deployment / training
  • realisation of management dashboards

Results: optimised economical management of each of the hospital's centres

The IT decision-making system has allowed all financial analytical procedures to be refined, simplified, and standardised.

Based on consolidating reliable data, it also allows cross-functional analyses and contributes to optimised management of the different CHI centres from a medical-financial perspective
