SQLI has had strong growth since 2005 provided by both internal and external growth which is making the Groupe the standard setter in the field of Web consultancy, technologies and new uses.
No fewer than 11 companies became part of SQLI between 2005 and 2007. This constant acquisition policy allowed the Groupe to strengthen its high added value activities such as SAP consultancy, improving CMMI processes, optimising strategic asset availability (MCO) and also its expertise in the leading sector of health. A common factor for all these activities is the use of advanced Web technologies that SQLI masters completely.
In just three years, SQLI strategy of moving upmarket has been a complete success as the TJM evolution shows, increasing from 400 to 580 € over 3 years.
2008 was a year of consolidation its acquisitions and optimising its operational structure for SQLI after this period of rapid growth. The Groupe exceeded its initial objective in its 2005-08 plan of sales revenues of 150 M€ but major organisational changes and the general economic slowdown at the end of the year prevented it from maximising activity rates and this had a direct effect on margins. The major commercial successes have however confirmed the strategy that has been implemented: SQLI has won, on its own or as a sub-contractor, 3 major multi-annual contracts (healthcare professionals in Martinique, Marine Nationale and Defence Minister) with a total value of 55 M€, of which 28 M€ has been awarded to SQLI.
With almost 2,000 employees, SQLI intends to use its differentiating strengths to continue its development: increase the strength of new generation service centres, high added value business-oriented solutions, increase the proportion of fixed price projects meeting the highest level CMMI requirements and strengthening offshore centres with an objective of 500 employees in Morocco within 3 years.
In this context of strong growth and acquisitions, the Groupe has been able to conserve a solid financial structure with net financial debt limited to 3.3 M€ at the end of December 2008. SQLI can now deal with a less certain economic environment without worry.
We thank you for your trust.
