SQLI designed and installed a PHP continuous integration platform whilst assisting the project owner of this key project for the French Gendarmerie Nationale.
Objectives: Puls@r renewal and installation of PHP continuous integration
Puls@r is a business intranet that can be accessed by almost 70,000 members of the military. It is used for the administrative management of units, manages forms and for entering judicial statistical data, activity and results.
A Java version was realised by a provider but even before it was released, it no longer satisfied the functional requirements. Consequently, the Gendarmerie wanted to completely renew the PHP application, which would be done internally.
It wanted to create a PHP software factory to ensure the industrialisation of this development and all future PHP developments within the organisation.

Results: an innovative platform, a project on the right track
In a spirit of mutual trust, SQLI was able to integrate the Gendarmerie's coding rules and a new analytical module into the OS product used as the PIC's base. Other modules are also planned. Regular technical monitoring ensured that the development process was problem free.
Project management assistance was completed by CMMI training and the use of SQLI project management tools by the Gendarmerie.
Lieutenant Laurent Rougès - Gendarmerie Nationale - Project Manager
"The SQLI team members quickly learnt the project's issues and challenges. They adapted to our context and our development team to provide the best answers to our needs.
The discussions with different people from SQLI allocated to the project were frank, constructive and oriented towards a constant search for solutions adapted to our environment.
We enjoyed working in a climate of mutual trust with every member of the SQLI project team."
